We’re Hiring: Manager, Software Engineering

We are looking for a high-energy, forward-thinking, and impact-driven Software Engineering Manager to join our growing technology team in Toronto.
This is not a “keep the lights on” role. We’re looking for a change agent—someone who leads with vision, thrives on innovation, and is excited to shape the future of digital automotive experiences.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers across multiple projects and products.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Senior Engineers to drive scalable, secure, and performant software architecture.
Champion best practices across development, CI/CD, DevOps, and agile delivery.
Inspire and influence cross-functional teams to push boundaries and innovate.
Play a key role in hiring and team expansion—yes, you’ll help build the team you’re leading.
Align technical execution with business priorities to ensure high-impact outcomes.
💡 What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
Proven ability to drive change, challenge the status quo, and improve engineering processes.
Experience with modern cloud environments (AWS or Azure), microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong technical background – you’ve either come from engineering yourself or are still hands-on when needed.
High curiosity and interest in emerging tech, especially AI and LLMs – you’re the kind of leader who’s reading about it before the rest of us.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in or with:
High-growth startups or product-led companies (think Wealthsimple, KOHO, Ada, Borrowell, etc.)
Fintech, SaaS, or AI-driven products
