Reporting directly to the Director of Fixed Asset Lifecycle, this role offers a dynamic environment ripe for professional growth.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the Property Accounting Team, providing valuable feedback, training, mentorship, and fostering professional development.
– Cultivate strong relationships and seamless communication with key stakeholders and functional partners.
– Deliver crucial key performance indicators and operational metrics to the leadership team.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must, coupled with substantial experience, including:
– Ideally 10 years in accounting and finance.
– CPA certification is a plus.
– Profound knowledge of accounting, finance, and management accounting principles, particularly in the U.S. public utility sector finance.
– Demonstrated team management skills and a track record of driving high performance in a continuous improvement environment.
– Stellar communication abilities for presentations, report creation, business correspondence, and interactions with regulators and management.
– Sharp business acumen with a knack for devising strategic solutions for intricate challenges.
– Proficiency in project management and meeting deadlines.
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP S/4 Hana, and PowerPlan is advantageous.
– Flexibility for travel as required.
