Job Role- Mainframe Resource
📍Location- Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
🏢Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
⏰Full-Time || Contract

We’re looking for a Mainframe Resource with:
DB MAINTENANCE:
✅ Strong experience to maintain DB2, IMS image copy and DBRC recovery jobs.
✅ Knowledge in IMS transactions and commands.
✅ Maintaining of IMS analyzer jobs
✅ Creation and restoration of IMS and DB2 databases
✅ Database space monitoring and schedule reorg and expansion

ENVIRONMENT REBUILDS:
✅ Create and coordinate project plan/checklist activities for the rebuild
✅ IMS backup and restore using IMS DBRC and DB recovery utilities, FP and FF database initialization.
✅ DB2 backup/unload and reload
✅ VSAM files creation, loading, unloading, path files creation.
✅ Knowledge in SDSF Monitoring, File transfers -FTP and CICS Commands.

AUTOMATION AND SOFTWARE SUPPORT:
✅ Maintain the CLIST, REXX, SAS automation panels and scripts to support the test environments
✅ Knowledge in Endevor tool.
✅ Maintain and enhance the code rebuild, promotion, cleanup automations in test environments
✅ Develop operational tools/utilities to improve and enhance our test environment operational procedures and routines
