Mainframe Developer

We’re Hiring: Mainframe Developer – Remote (Halifax, NS)
💼 Contract Role | 6+ Months Duration

Our client is looking for a talented Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS. Familiarity with Control-M or CA7 job scheduling tools and MECH systems is an added bonus.
🔧 Responsibilities Include
▪️ Developing COBOL & JCL programs
▪️ Providing L2/L3 incident & batch job support
▪️ Performing RCA and permanent fixes
▪️ Collaborating across QA, Ops, and Business teams
▪️ Supporting UAT and deployments following ITIL process
