Level 2 Architects (Linux/UNIX)

Procom is currently looking for a Level 2 Architects (Linux/UNIX) for our client in the public sector

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 12 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE OF EXTENSION)
LOCATION: ONSITE (THE CLIENT IS IN THE OTTAWA AREA)
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

Experience:

💠 Must have 3 years of hard core Linux (RedHat/SUSE/Ubuntu), Linux Admin, Kubernetes, DevOps, Z/VM would be nice, Operational support, some architecture skills are good too. Open shift is a good thing to have.
💠Must have 3 years of experience as a Linux on Z and z/VM system programmer on a z/VM and/or mainframe production system.
💠Must have 3 years of experience configuring and supporting DIRMAINT and RACF for z/VM subsystems.
💠Must have 5 years of experience with Linux, Cloud , Automation, Kubernetes experience, and we need some resources that can accelerate our ability to deliver capabilities for the GoC on the Next Generation Mainframe Hybrid Cloud platform.
💠Must have 3 years of experience working in a zVM SSI Cluster environment.
💠Must have 5 years of experience participating in Disaster or Business Recovery Exercises.
💠Must have 3 years of experience applying maintenance to z/VM and LINUX on Z including related products via vendor maintenance products
💠Must have 5 years of experience identifying technical and performance challenges and implementing performance improvement strategies in a z-Series environment.
