Lead Software Engineer – Modern Cloud & AI Platforms (Toronto Hybrid)
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to help build and modernize next-generation enterprise applications in a fast-moving, engineering-driven environment.
This is not a “sit-back-and-manage” role—you’ll be deep in the code, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and driving real technical execution across cloud-native, microservices-based systems.
🔧 What you’ll work on:
Modernizing a large enterprise platform (TRAX)
Building scalable microservices & event-driven systems
Integrating AI-powered capabilities into real products
Driving CI/CD, DevOps, and Kubernetes adoption
Working hands-on with Python / .NET / React / Angular
Leading technical direction without formal management responsibilities
💡 What we’re looking for:
Strong technical leadership (8–10+ years experience)
Deep experience in distributed systems & modern architecture
Hands-on background in cloud (Azure preferred), DevOps, Kubernetes
Ability to code, review, and guide engineering teams
Experience with modern API-driven and scalable architectures
Interest or exposure to AI/ML or GenAI integrations
