Position Title: Junior Administrative Assistant
Location: Ottawa, Ont.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
Full-time Permanent Position / Onsite Full Time

Position Overview:
Seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the office. This role supports internal teams, interacts professionally with clients and customers, and assists with day-to-day administrative workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support
• Perform general administrative duties such as answering incoming calls, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling daily correspondence.
• Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain well-organized filing systems, including both electronic and physical records.
• Monitor the reception area and provide coverage when the receptionist is away.
• Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous office administrative experience (1 – 2 years).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with database systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
