Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior Data Analyst – Excel, Power BI & MIS Reporting (Banking). This position involves supporting business management teams in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a collaborative environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $32.61/hr – $39.13/hr

Responsibilities

Support B2B portfolio by delivering accurate data analysis and reporting solutions.
Validate and analyze large datasets to ensure data integrity and support business decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Power BI, and other MS Office tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document findings.
Assist in process improvements and automation of MIS reports.
Document processes and ensure consistent reporting standards.
Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and support ongoing business needs.
Desired Skill-Set

2-3 years of experience in a similar data analysis or reporting role.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven expertise in data validation and analysis for reporting purposes.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; Power BI experience is essential.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to work with large datasets and focus on data accuracy.
Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.
Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
Business acumen with the ability to connect technical insights to business context.
Nice to Have

Experience with MIS reporting and automation.
Prior experience in the banking or financial industry
