Java Developer

Quarry Consulting is looking for a Java Developer for a 2-year full-time contract with a 1-year extension option. This is a remote opportunity requiring Secret Clearance.

Role Details:
📌 Duration: 2 years + 1-year extension
📌 Work Type: Full-time, Remote
📌 Security Clearance: Secret

Must-Have Qualifications:
✔ Education: University degree or college diploma in computer science (or equivalent experience)
✔ Java Development: 5+ years of experience using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RDBMS backend
✔ RDBMS & SQL: 3+ years of experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills
✔ Application Support: Experience with high-availability, high-security systems
✔ Findur or Endur Experience: Direct experience preferred, but strong financial tech background will be considered

Nice-to-Have Skills:
➕ Experience with Agile (SCRUM) projects
➕ Performance testing expertise
➕ Knowledge of financial applications/systems
➕ Experience working with data warehouses
➕ Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
