📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)
💰 Pay Rate: $50–55/Hr
🕒 Experience: 6+ Years

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Java BigData Developer with strong expertise in Java, Scala, Big Data technologies, Kafka, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications and optimizing Big Data processing systems in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize Big Data applications using Java, Scala, Hadoop, and Hive
• Build REST APIs and event-driven applications using Kafka and Spring Boot
• Design and develop Microservices-based enterprise applications
• Work with Apache Spark, Hive, Python, and Shell Scripting for large-scale data processing
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps automation initiatives
• Optimize SQL queries and integrate enterprise databases
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk and CloudWatch
• Support scalable cloud-native deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP

Required Skills:
• Spring Boot, Java, REST API development
• Kafka-based event-driven architecture
• Scala programming (3+ years preferred)
• Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark
• Python, Scala, Shell Scripting
• SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
