NOTE: 100% remote (must be located in Canada) with quarterly travel to Dallas, TX (4 days per trip). Work hours aligned to Central Daylight Time (CDT).

TYPE: 6-month contract with intention to convert to full-time.

DESCRIPTION:

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) for IT vendor management.
Lead data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and compliance across vendor data (contracts, finances, performance) in ServiceNow, Workday, Fieldglass, Salesforce/GovernX, and SharePoint.
Automate data workflows using Power Query, Data Flows, APIs, and ELT transformations to optimize reporting efficiency.
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to align vendor analytics with business objectives.
Implement AI/ML-driven anomaly detection and predictive analytics for vendor risk/performance insights.
Document data processes, mappings, and automation logic for scalability.
Proactively communicate progress, blockers, and solutions to stakeholders.
Evaluate and integrate new AI/automation tools (e.g., Copilot, Microsoft Fabric)to enhance data operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Certifications: Microsoft Power BI, Data Engineering (e.g., Microsoft DP-203), AI/ML (e.g., Azure AI), or ITIL.
8–10 years in data management, BI, or vendor analytics, with expertise in:
Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power Query, Data Flows
ETL/ELT, APIs, SQL, and data modeling
AI/automation (predictive analytics, anomaly detection)
Experience with vendor management tools (ServiceNow, Workday, Fieldglass, Salesforce/GovernX, SharePoint).
Strong ability to translate business needs into AI-driven data solutions.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to travel to Dallas, TX, quarterly (4 days per trip).
