Job Description

IT Server Specialist opportunity onsite in Victoria, BC, Canada! 🇨🇦 Are you a PR in Canada or a Citizen with 3 years of experience? We are looking for a Contractor with expertise in:

– Developing and deploying complex IT services for the past 5 years.
– Building custom DNS servers and services for at least 5 years.
– Building custom DHCP servers and services for at least 5 years.
– Migrating in-house DNS implementations to Infoblox.
– Scripting in Perl for the last decade.
– Scripting in JavaScript for the last 5 years.
– Maintaining Solaris Servers for the past 10 years.
– Migrating Unix scripts in Solaris to Linux-compatible scripts.
– Understanding the Remedy Action Request System (ARS) and developing Remedy Applications.
– Understanding network devices, components, and their inter-relationships for data integrity.
– Working with tools like ServiceNow, CAS, Perl, JavaScript, and Rest API.
