Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years experience in IT Security

• 2 years of hands-on technical working experience in any of the following: information security, software development/engineering, networking and/or IT support.

• 2 years of hands-on technical working experience with: Akamai, DLP and / or UBA technologies

• Experience working with policy creation, implementation and governance

• Experience in regulatory and compliance frameworks for USA, UK, ASIA

 

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior FI Experience

• Previous Audit experience

 

Soft Skills.

• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.

• Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English.

• Effective team player while being comfortable working autonomously

 

Best vs Average: The ideal candidate would have experience with Windows, Linux and Unix operating system, extensive knowledge on data at rest. Ideally the candidate would have project management experience (creating plans, and roadmaps) as well as experience reporting and presenting policy review and tuning data.

 

Education:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or relevant work experience in an IT related field

 

Typical Day in the Role:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information

• Reviewing current processes and creating documentation to log procedure in Playbook format

• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans

• Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles

• Develop and interpret security policies and procedures

Participate in security compliance efforts

Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training

Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
