We’re Hiring: IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist – Senior
Location: 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote initially; full onsite from Jan 5, 2026)
Client: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement
Contract: Oct 1, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026 (Extension Probable)
Hours: 7.25 hours/day
About the Role:
The Government of Ontario is driving a large-scale Data & AI transformation through the Ontario Data Platform (ODP), a modern enterprise ecosystem for all things Data & AI. We’re looking for a senior IT Enterprise Strategist to develop and implement Data & AI strategies across technology, people, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead ODP’s technology strategy aligned with enterprise architecture
Drive strategy execution plans, roadmaps, and operational processes
Evangelize strategy and secure stakeholder buy-in
Partner with IT clusters and ministries to align with ODP
Lead enterprise architecture, business cases, procurement, and communication efforts
Contribute to program/project management and RFP execution
Must-Have Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in Data & AI strategy & execution in large, multi-stakeholder environments
Experience with Data & AI governance, Azure, Databricks, and AI technologies
Strong enterprise architecture expertise (TOGAF preferred)
Advanced degree or equivalent experience
Exceptional stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and team leadership skills
Agile and traditional project/program management experience; PMP certification preferred
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Government of Ontario structures & business processes
Strong presentation, communication, and transformation management skills
