IT – Business Systems Analyst IV

We’re Hiring: IT – Business Systems Analyst IV, Canada

Location: Toronto or London, ON, Canada
Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home
Duration: 12-Month Contract ( Extension and Conversion possibility)

Pay Range:
$64-70/hr INC or $51-56/hr T4 (Toronto)
( Negotiable)
$59-64/hr INC or $47-52/hr T4 (London)

Years of Overall Experience: 8+ years of experience (Mandit)

We’re looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong technical background to join a leading banking client. If you have expertise in Mainframe, APIs, Agile delivery, and business analysis, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support testing, gap analysis, and ensure end-to-end requirements traceability.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to Agile project delivery.

Must-Have Skills:
~8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or Quality Engineer.
~Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe screens (data inquiry and maintenance).
~Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
~Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Strong understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and writing user stories.
~Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
~Strong testing and gap analysis experience.

Preferred Skills:
• Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Customer data experience.
• Microsoft 365 Copilot or GitHub Copilot experience.
