Are you a detail-oriented IT Asset Management professional who excels at analyzing data, generating strategic reports, and ensuring strong governance across IT infrastructure? This opportunity allows you to support a leading financial client by managing assets approaching end-of-life (EOL/EOS), enhancing lifecycle processes, and contributing to modernization initiatives.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for an IT Asset Management Analyst who will provide business-as-usual (BAU) and ad hoc reporting, perform gap analysis, collaborate with stakeholders, and support governance activities across the IT asset landscape. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and skilled at translating data into meaningful insights while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Manage and report on IT assets approaching EOL/EOS, ensuring alignment with lifecycle and modernization plans.
Deliver BAU and ad hoc reporting, including designing and maintaining reports for various business audiences.
Perform data analysis, gap analysis, and validation to support governance and remediation activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business functions to ensure asset compliance and strategy alignment.
Support process improvement initiatives related to asset lifecycle management and reporting.
Assist with risk metric validation, data governance activities, and tracking of remediation efforts.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance asset visibility, compliance, and operational excellence.
Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively.
Desired Skill Set:
2–4 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Business Systems Analysis, or related technical roles.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and gap assessments.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, charts, tables).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Team-oriented mindset with strong customer service orientation.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting governance activities (EOL remediation, data integrity, risk metric validation).
Working knowledge of Power BI and MS SQL.
Familiarity with infrastructure services, cloud platforms, and IT modernization initiatives.
Experience with ServiceNow ITAM or CMDB.
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
