Intermediate Java Developer

Tis the season! I am looking for a true Intermediate Java Developer (4-7 years experience) to work a 12 month contract on a Hybrid work model here in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Systems Architects, Software Team Leads, and other Software Developers to design, develop, and deploy technical solutions.
• Analyze complex information, design, develop, and troubleshoot database applications.
• Review functional requirements and prepare technical program designs and solutions.
• Perform new development, maintenance fixes, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
• Assist other teams to troubleshoot application issues in production and other environments.
• Develop, review, and document plans for both automated and manual unit and integration tests.
• Mentor other software developers and IT staff members.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms, Spring Framework, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate.
• Proven experience with API design, UNIX/Linux, SQL, and relational databases
