Infrastructure Technical Lead (Hybrid – Ontario)
Salary: $130,000–$150,000 CAD
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

We’re looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Technical Lead who thrives in on-prem environments, loves solving real operational problems, and isn’t chasing a cloud-only career.
This role owns day-to-day infrastructure and production operations—from servers and virtualization to monitoring, incident response, and reliability. You’ll lead a small team, mentor junior engineers, and stay deeply technical while shaping how infrastructure runs and scales.
What You’ll Do
Own and operate core infrastructure (servers, virtualization, storage, networking)
Lead incident response, monitoring, alerting, and on-call practices
Mentor and guide infrastructure & SRE engineers
Partner with security, architecture, and application teams
Drive automation, reliability, and operational excellence
Stay hands-on — this is not an ivory-tower role
What We’re Looking For
7+ years in infrastructure / systems engineering
2+ years in a technical or team lead role
Strong on-prem experience (Linux, Windows Server, virtualization)
Solid hands-on knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
Experience with Fortinet or Cisco networking
Monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Scripting & automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Comfortable working hybrid — not a remote-only role
