Job Title: Technical Lead – Industrial Software Development (C/C++/WPF)
Location: Remote in Canada
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + discretionary bonus, benefits, share options
We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to drive innovation in industrial automation software. This is your chance to mentor a talented team, shape the future of a globally deployed mission-critical platform, and build next-generation capabilities with C, C++, and WPF.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a skilled development team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software features and subsystems
Become an expert on the system architecture from core C/C++ components to C#/WPF desktop interfaces
Solve complex technical challenges and provide expert support for advanced issues
Champion best practices for coding, testing, security, and architecture
Collaborate across product, QA, and support teams to deliver innovative solutions
What You Bring:
7+ years professional software development experience, including senior or lead roles
Strong hands-on experience with C, C++, and desktop application development in C# / WPF
Passion for building robust, high-quality software and mentoring others
Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC Classic/UA, Modbus, TCP/IP) is a strong plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
