We have a 6-month contract opportunity for an Identity Analyst – Data Access Security, with the possibility of extension. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring one day of remote work and four days in-office at Adelaide Street, Toronto.

Key responsibilities include:
– Analyzing large sets of access data to identify irregularities or risks with access permissions.
– Implementing and managing automated access reviews and periodic attestation campaigns for data repositories across the organization.
– Continuously monitoring privileged and sensitive data access and configuring real-time alerts for risky activities.
– Identifying and remediating access anomalies and risks, including over-privileged users, dormant accounts, and externally shared data.
– Developing and streamlining data access governance workflows to reduce manual effort and support governance.

The ideal candidate should possess:
– Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CIAM, or SailPoint Certified Identity Security Engineer.
– A strong understanding of IAM principles and data access governance best practices.
– Over 3 years of experience in access management, security analysis, or IAM roles.
– Familiarity with managing permissions in M365 environments (e.g., SharePoint Online, OneDrive) and other data repository platforms.
– Knowledge of how access is granted and controlled across various systems.
– Experience with identity governance tools (e.g., SailPoint DAS, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview) and scripting for automation.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
– Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR) is a plus, and experience with ITSM/ticketing systems like ServiceNow is beneficial.
