Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IBM Sterling Specialist. This position involves supporting a high-volume enterprise environment, focusing on IBM Sterling File Gateway and Managed File Transfer expertise. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the client’s enterprise file transfer processes, contributing to ongoing project support and system customization.

Pay rate range (CAD): $60.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Responsibilities

Support and maintain IBM Sterling File Gateway systems within a high-volume enterprise environment.
Execute system upgrades, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and customize IBM Sterling solutions to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to support migration efforts and ongoing project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to Managed File Transfer processes.
Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Assist with system testing and validation during various project phases.
Desired Skill-Set

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway.
Expertise in Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes.
Experience with IBM Sterling development and customization.
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of enterprise system migration processes.
Nice to Have

Exposure to or experience with AI/GenAI technologies.
Previous experience supporting enterprise banking environments.
Familiarity with TIBCO migration projects.
Understanding of IT project lifecycle and documentation standards.
