Job description
What You Will Do:

● Review software requirements and create architectural and design documents.

● Configure and develop Guidewire components: screens, business rules, and workflows.

● Write, test, and deploy code using GOSU and Guidewire tools.

● Build and manage RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.

● Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

● Ensure code quality, compliance with standards, and agile delivery.

● Work with tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

● 10+ years in Guidewire application development, including 7+ years in PolicyCenter and integrations.

● Strong GOSU, Guidewire Cloud APIs, and Integration Gateway experience.

● Proficient in Java, C#, Python, and SQL (MS SQL Server preferred).

● Deep understanding of P&C insurance and modern API/web design.

● Skilled in event-driven architecture, OAuth 2.0, and cloud tools like TeamCity and DataDog.

Note: Guidewire Associate Certification (required); Ace Certification preferred.

Note: Candidates must be in Canada and have an Open Work Permit/PR/Citizenship or otherwise be eligible to work in Canada.

Job Type: contract

Contract length: 6 months with possibility of extension
