Exciting Opportunity: GCP/DevOps Engineer

Location: GTA, ON – Hybrid
Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking a GCP/DevOps Engineer with the following requirements:

**Must Have Skills:**
– Execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
– Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and CI environments using Jenkins, GitHub, YAML, JSON, Python, and Shell scripting.
– Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based container environments, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP/GKE); Azure experience is a plus.
– Develop and maintain Helm charts for application deployment and configuration.
– Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation across cloud environments.
– Integrate cloud security tools such as AquaSec into CI/CD pipelines to ensure compliance and secure deployments.
– Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in DevOps and cloud operations.
– Maintain version control and code repositories using GitHub.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
– 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
– Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting languages (Jenkins, YAML, JSON, Python, Shell).
– Proven experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in cloud environments (GCP/GKE).
– Hands-on experience with Helm and Terraform.
– Familiarity with integrating security tools (e.g., AquaSec) into CI/CD pipelines.
– Proficient in GitHub workflows and version control practices.

**Nice to Have:**
– Technical experience with SSO, TLS & ciphers, Key Vaults, LDAP, IAM.
– Knowledge of data encryption (In-Transit and At-Rest).
– Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other cloud platforms.
