Functional Tester

We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester to independently lead testing efforts and take full ownership of deliverables for a leading banking client.

Role: Functional Tester (Contract)
Location: Toronto (Downtown – Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)
Rate: Market Rate
Duration : 2 Years

Eligibility:
Must be a Canadian Citizen, PR, or hold a valid Canadian Work Permit
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end functional testing activities and ensure high-quality deliverables
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
Perform data validation and ETL testing to ensure data integrity across systems
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
Manage both Functional and Automation Testing as part of delivery

Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of Functional Testing experience
Strong Salesforce testing experience (Sales/Service Cloud preferred)
Hands-on experience with ETL testing / data validation
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries
Hands-on experience with Azure
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership
