About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing user-facing web applications. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to create high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.Develop experimental features designed to improve customer experiences while showcasing our journalism in new and interesting ways.Participate in code reviews.
Required Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of professional experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or React.js, TypeScript. Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data handling.Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
