Job Title: Forms Designer
Location: Toronto ON

Duties & Responsibilities
The Forms Designer will be responsible for developing forms for all Market Conduct Licensing that comply with related legislation for five regulated sectors (Mortgage, Insurance, Health Service Providers, Loan and Trust Corporations and Co-operatives). This includes creating forms for nineteen (19) different license classes and related application and filing types. The Forms Designer will be responsible for ensuring these forms meet all regulatory requirements and support accurate data collection.
The Forms Designer will
· Participate in product design sessions to create intuitive and accessible forms that capture all required fields, tooltips, dropdowns, and validation logic
· Collaborate with Business Subject Matter Experts to ensure the forms meet functional requirements and work with the IT Team to align forms with data readiness for migration.
· Integrate data privacy and security considerations into form design
· Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback to inform testing and refinement of form designs.
· Ensure a uniform user experience across the different sectors and adherence to design standards
· Collect and analyze user feedback to continually improve form design to enhance usability and functionality
· Create and maintain a repository of form templates and versions, ensuring easy access and version control for all form templates, keeping them up-to-date with regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
· Experience with MS Dynamics 365, Power Pages and other tools/applications for forms design.
· Understanding of business rules, process flows, and regulatory requirements.
· Demonstrated experience designing user-centered forms for compliance or regulatory-driven environments.
· Knowledge of case management or licensing platforms
· Ability to synthesize technical inputs and policy into plain-language form design
· Strong collaboration and communication skills. Proven ability to manage stakeholder feedback and adapt designs accordingly.
· Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to continuous improvement
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
· Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements and how to apply them in creating accessible, easy-to-use forms
Preferred Skills:
· Experience in a regulatory or licensing environment.
· Experience working on and supporting business transformation initiatives in the public or regulatory sector. Knowledge of data migration and automation processes.
· Familiarity with multi-sectoral support content development.
· Experience with desktop publishing and working in an online environment.
· Ability to troubleshoot issues regarding forms.
