Job Title: Financial Portfolio Manager (Contract)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion to Full-Time)
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in a financial management role, particularly in managing large investment portfolios.
5+ years of experience in portfolio investment management, including accruals, forecasts, spend analysis, and variance reporting.
Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and Clarity PPM.
Solid understanding of core financial management fundamentals such as capitalization, expense management, and trend analysis.
Experience managing financial portfolios in large-scale projects, particularly within the banking or financial industry.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in a project delivery environment.
Experience within Top 6 Canadian banks in Finance, PMO, or Business Operations teams.
Soft Skills Required:
Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a Business degree with a focus on Finance.
