Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Data Analyst – Clarity PPM /Banking. This position involves leveraging data to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and supporting operational excellence within the organization. The role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote and onsite work, with opportunities for ongoing contract extension and potential conversion to full-time employment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $67.65/hr – $81.18/hr

Responsibilities

Extract financial data from the Clarity system and analyze large datasets for accuracy
Identify discrepancies and determine root causes in financial transactions
Summarize analytical findings and develop action plans to rectify issues within reporting cycles
Lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement fixes effectively
Propose process improvements to streamline future financial reporting activities
Collaborate with team members, dedicating approximately 2-3 hours daily to meetings and discussions
Maintain communication with internal resources and external vendors related to financial data management
Ensure compliance with organizational policies during data analysis and process improvements
Desired Skill-Set

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including large data analysis, formulas, and file merging
Hands-on experience with Clarity financial management software
Demonstrated experience working within large organizations
Strong understanding of financial data analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
Strong analytical skills

Experience with Jira project management tool
