We’re seeking a Financial Applications Director to lead and optimize SAP and finance-related systems. This is a permanent, senior leadership role with 4-days on-site per week in Toronto, reporting directly to the CIO and collaborating closely with Finance leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Build and lead a local SAP support model and Community of Excellence (CoE).
Drive strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence for finance applications (SAP, Coupa, Emburse, etc.).
Manage relationships with vendors, MSPs, and third-party partners.
Oversee SAP cloud migration initiatives, change management, and adoption strategies.
Mentor and develop a high-performing IT team focused on finance applications.
What We’re Looking For:
15+ years in technology or finance systems leadership.
Extensive SAP experience with strong finance/accounting background.
Experience with vendor management and managed service providers.
Proven success in building Centers of Excellence and optimizing enterprise platforms.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with regulated sectors and cloud migration initiatives (Azure → GCP).
French language skills considered an asset.
