Financial Analyst

We’re Hiring: Financial Analyst (1-Year Contract, Remote)

We are looking for a Financial Analyst for a 1-year remote contract with a major government client in Canada. This position is open to Canada-based candidates only.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead finance functions, including forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
· Manage capital and operating budgets.
· Conduct cost/benefit analysis and write business cases.
· Oversee financial planning in a healthcare environment.
· Implement automation solutions (RPA, Python).

Qualifications:
· CPA, CMA designation (proof required)
· Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, or related field (proof required)
· Certifications in Data Management, RPA, and Python (proof required)
· 10+ years in a senior finance role with a large publicly funded enterprise (provide examples)
· 5+ years managing capital and operating budgets (provide examples)
· 5+ years’ experience in cost/benefit analysis and business case writing
· 5+ years in financial planning/reporting in healthcare
