Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Ab Initio to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into a data warehouse or other data repositories.
Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data from various sources such as relational databases, flat files, cloud systems, etc.
Performance Tuning: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Data Quality: Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling procedures within ETL workflows to ensure accurate and clean data.
Data Transformation: Work with data architects to develop transformation rules that align with business requirements and optimize data flow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven Experience: At least [X] years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Ab Initio (including graph development, data quality, and performance optimization).
ETL Tool Proficiency: Strong expertise in using Ab Initio tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
SQL & Database Skills: Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and experience writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and transformation.
Data Warehousing Concepts: Understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and star schema design.
