💼  Job Title: ETL Automation Tester
📍  Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4x Onsite a Week)
📅  Employment Type: Contract Opportunity
👥 Interview Type: Face 2 Face (Onsite Interview Only)

Job Description:
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for ETL pipelines.
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across systems.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve data quality issues.
Perform regression, integration, and system testing using automation frameworks.
Maintain test documentation and defect tracking logs.
Execute test cases based on ETL specs and business rules.
Automate repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
Report and track defects, and support root cause analysis.

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Selenium.
ETL Tools: Proficiency in SQL and ETL platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
Automation Frameworks: Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver.
Testing Expertise: QA artifacts, test case design, defect lifecycle management.
Domain Knowledge: Banking and financial services experience is often preferred.
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, communication, and independent problem-solving.
