From designing overhead and underground systems to managing capital projects and streetlight renewals, this role is at the heart of our grid’s evolution.

The Role at a Glance:
Design & Plan: Lead the charge on residential, commercial, and industrial distribution projects.
Technical Expertise: Perform voltage drop calculations, fault current analysis, and pole loading studies.
Collaborate: Liaise with stakeholders, municipal bodies (Town of Oakville, Halton Region, MTO), and developers to bring projects to life.
Lead & Innovate: Oversee construction contracts and provide critical input on capital budget proposals.

What You Bring:
🎓 Education: 3-year Electrical Engineering Technology degree/diploma.
📜 Certification: O.A.C.E.T.T. registration (C.E.T. or eligible).
🛠️ Experience: 3+ years in overhead/underground distribution design and construction.
🧠 Skills: Strong electrical theory knowledge, project management prowess, and a safety-first mindset.
🚗 Requirements: Valid Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s License.
