Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Email Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This position involves building and deploying client-facing email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), supporting marketing automation journeys, and ensuring high-quality, responsive email content that aligns with brand standards. The role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in enterprise-level marketing operations and the potential for extension or full-time conversion.

Pay rate range (CAD): $47.10/hr – $56.52/hr

Responsibilities

Develop and code responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for personalization in SFMC
Build and manage CloudPages and Mobile Studio assets for multi-channel campaigns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create reusable templates and modular components
Configure data extensions, segments, and automation workflows to support targeted campaigns
Test and troubleshoot email rendering issues across various email clients and devices
Optimize campaigns for deliverability, engagement, and compliance with accessibility standards
Support marketing automation journeys using SFMC tools like Journey Builder and Automation Studio
Perform quality assurance checks using tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
Stay current with email marketing trends and best practices to improve campaign performance
Desired Skill-Set

2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience
Strong proficiency in AMPscript for dynamic content and personalization
Hands-on experience with responsive HTML and CSS, including media queries
Familiarity with Email Studio, CloudPages, Mobile Studio, Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
QA testing experience with email testing tools like Litmus or Email on Acid
Ability to troubleshoot rendering issues across multiple devices and email clients
Knowledge of dynamic content, segmentation strategies, and data integration
Experience with Workfront or Jira for campaign management
Nice to Have

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer)
Additional familiarity with Journey Builder and Automation Studio
