SGI is seeking multiple positions for varying durations throughout 2026 and continuing until March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension.Preference will be given to candidates with previous SGI DRIVE Platform Development experience based in Saskatchewan who are available to work standard business hours in accordance with Saskatchewan time; however, applicants from other locations with applicable experience will also be considered.

Position Details:

Title: Developers, Business Analyst, Architects, and Scrum Masters (Up to 15 total positions)

Duration: Various lengths available (3,6, 9, 12 month) with potential extensions up to 12-months.

Start Date: Earliest Start April 1, 2026

Department: Auto Fund Delivery & Platform Delivery

Requirements:

These positions will address the temporary need for enhanced production support of the custom-built SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform. Responsibilities encompass working with a comprehensive event-based .NET architecture, Azure development pipelines, adherence to contemporary development standards and practices, utilization of modern languages and frameworks, implementation of automated testing, and management within a distinct product domain structure.

SGI retains full discretion to modify personnel assignments, vendor partnerships, and contract durations for the duration of this engagement.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Developer – bridge the gap between front-end and back-end development, ensuring smooth integration of different components. Their ability to work on both ends allows for better communication and coordination within a project, leading to more efficient and cohesive development processes.
Business Analyst – collect feedback from stakeholders, analyze project metrics, and identify opportunities for enhancement. Whether it’s streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, or enhancing user experience, BAs champion initiatives that elevate the quality and efficacy of the software solution.
Architect – design and optimize IT infrastructure and solutions. They focus on areas like network architecture, cloud computing, and IT service management to ensure that the technology framework supports business operations efficiently and securely.
Scrum Master – facilitate agile ceremonies, remove barriers to team progress, assist the product team with planning, tracking, and analytics, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
 

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Must have previously worked with SGI on the development and implementation of the custom-built SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform.
3+ years experience with the following technologies and skills:
Event Based Architecture
Event Modelling
Micro-services
.NET using GIT and Visual Studio
Azure DevOps
Domain-Drive Design (DDD)
Scrum
Azure based Authentication Platform
Application Insights for monitoring and alerting
Jest for automated testing
Automated Development Pipelines
React for Front-End development
Azure services for event database technologies
