Director of Information Security & Risk

Our public sector client in Toronto is seeking a Director of Information Security & Risk to lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy.
This role is accountable for cybersecurity governance, risk management, incident response (IT and OT), and oversight of MSSPs.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in developing security programs, managing disaster recovery planning, and implementing GRC frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
We’re looking for a leader with 10+ years of experience in complex environments, including oversight of operations, compliance, and vendor performance.

The role is 2-3 days on site in Toronto
