Job Title: Director, Fixed Income Technology
Location: Toronto, ON (3–4 days in office)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to $200,000 + 20% bonus + 4 weeks vacation
About the Role:
Are you a motivated, hands-on technology leader ready to drive modernization in Fixed Income Technology? We’re seeking a Director to lead a high-performing team of developers, architects, and analysts, overseeing global settlements and clearing systems. You’ll own strategic projects, manage vendor relationships, and champion Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a team of 10–15 technology professionals, growing the team in the future
Oversee global Fixed Income Settlements & Clearing technology operations
Drive modernization using Java, Kafka, NiFi, and other enterprise integration tools
Manage medium-to-large technology projects ($2M–$15M budgets)
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology strategy with business goals
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
What We’re Looking For:
Proven leadership in Fixed Income Technology, Capital Markets, or Post-Trade systems
Hands-on experience with Broadridge IMPACT, Java, Kafka, NiFi
Strong understanding of Settlements, Clearing, and Post-Trade operations
Background in development or BSA roles, now leading teams
Skilled in Agile, DevOps, and system modernization initiatives
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
