Digital Architect

Location: Hybrid, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Contract Length: 24-months
Eligibility: Must have 3+ years of PR in Canada or be a Canadian Citizen

We’re seeking up to 11 Digital Architects to join our client’s team in driving innovation and delivering better, more efficient services. If you’re passionate about digital architecture and want to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s services, this is the opportunity for you!

Project Overview:
The client is embarking on an exciting journey to transform the way they deliver services to end users. As part of this project, you will be working with our client (3D) team, collaborating with key stakeholders. Your expertise will help review existing services, design future solutions, and deliver modern, effective, and affordable digital services. You’ll work within a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation.

What You’ll Do:
Provide architectural expertise and strategic guidance for digital services.
Oversee the software architecture of digital solutions, ensuring they align with a common vision.
Lead the iterative delivery of services and solutions, helping to create seamless, user-focused experiences.
Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to define backlogs, sprint planning, and execution.
Transform legacy systems into modern, scalable digital services.

Must-Have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Work Experience:
5+ years of experience in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
5+ years leading solution architecture and introducing technical strategies.
5+ years working as a software architect in agile environments.
5+ years of experience with software development and open-source ecosystems (e.g., Node.js/NPM).
2+ years of experience working with cloud services and leveraging DevSecOps in enterprise environments.
5+ years of experience transforming legacy systems into modern solutions.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including UX design and service design experts.
4+ years of experience in domain modeling, database schema design, and data analytics.
