Job Description
Must have:
Experience:
o  8+ years of experience in product design, demonstrating a deep understanding
of design principles, research methods and industry best practices, along with minimum 2 years as people manager in a large (financial) organization
within an agile environment.
·        Strong Communication & Facilitation Skills:
o  Be a strong communicator and advocate for the customer, the brand, and its impact.
o  Demonstrated ability to lead design initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
o  Able to run design thinking facilitation sessions with cross-functional teams.
·        Problem Solving Skills:
o  Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
o  Excel in distilling complex design and experience challenges and providing solutions
·        Technical Proficiency:
o  Proficient in design, prototyping, and project management tools: Figma, MURAL, Adobe Creative Suite, Confluence, JIRA etc.
o  Mastery of visual design skills (i.e. grids, balance, color theory), excellent attention to detail, deep understanding of the principles of atomic design including symbols, layer styles, and variables, and experience working with and growing a design library.
Nice-to-have:
·        BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or related Design field or minimum of 5 years in a product design environment with a portfolio of demonstrated shipment of products, sites, or apps.
·        Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
This position is a people manager as well as an individual contributor, who will be reporting to the Senior Manager/Practice Lead.
