We’re Hiring: DataStage Developer (Montreal | Hybrid)
🔍 Are you an experienced IBM DataStage Developer with a passion for building scalable data pipelines? We’re working with a leading consulting firm on an exciting opportunity at one of Canada’s top financial institutions in Montreal.
📍 Location: Montreal (Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
💼 Contract: Until December 31, 2025
🕐 Hours: 37.5/week
🗣 Languages:
French: Proficient (required)
English: Intermediate
🔧 Role Overview:
As a DataStage Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives. You’ll collaborate with BI, architecture, and governance teams to ensure reliable and scalable data solutions.
✅ What You’ll Do:
Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage
Support data ingestion, transformation, and modeling for reporting/analytics
Handle large datasets using advanced SQL across Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
Tune performance and ensure robustness of job executions
Work cross-functionally with BI and governance teams to align data efforts
🧠 What You Bring:
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large databases
Proven experience in large-scale data integration and ETL performance tuning
Experience in the banking or financial sector is a strong asset
Bilingual in French (required) and English (intermediate)
