Data Specialist

We are seeking 3 highly skilled Data Specialist with deep expertise in Python, SQL, and Snowflake – this contract starts at 12 months with renewal – this is “hybrid” role – 2 days in the office -candidates must reside in the GTA and is available asap for in-person interview – downtown Toronto.

Rate: negotiable (depend on experience)

Key Responsibilities
• Transform and clean large datasets using Python and Snowflake
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient SQL queries and data pipelines
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions
• Create impactful visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Work with cloud-based data infrastructure and tools to support scalability

What You Bring
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL (developer level)
• Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing technologies (e.g., Databricks, SQL Server, Spark)
• Strong understanding of data structures and transformation techniques
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other modern BI tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Nice to Have
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and data workflow automation
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and compliance standards
• Exposure to advanced analytics, statistics, or machine learning concepts
