🚨 Hiring: Data Solution Architect – Oracle / Azure Data 🚨

I’m currently looking for a Data Solution Architect for a 6-month contract opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong experience designing enterprise data architecture, leading legacy modernization, and working across Oracle-based systems and Azure data platforms.

📍 Location: Remote within Canada, EST time zone preferred
Halifax, NS candidates will be given preference.
🗓️ Interview Process: 2 rounds

Role Focus:
You will support a large data transformation initiative involving Oracle legacy systems, Azure data architecture, system integration, data synchronization, bulk data loads, and legacy system decommissioning.

What you’ll be working on:
• Designing end-to-end data architecture and scalable data flow patterns
• Leading migration strategies from Oracle legacy systems to Azure environments
• Providing architectural oversight across ADF pipelines, Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Service Bus
• Designing integration patterns across multiple systems and platforms
• Defining data quality, validation, and governance frameworks
• Supporting Agile delivery teams and contributing to hands-on implementation where needed

Must-have experience:
• Strong background in data architecture and data modelling
• Deep Oracle legacy systems experience
• Hands-on Azure Data Stack experience, including ADF, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Azure Service Bus
• Strong ETL / ELT design and implementation experience
• Experience with data synchronization, bulk data processing, and near real-time or event-driven pipelines
• Proven experience in large-scale data transformation, modernization, and multi-system integration programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills

Nice to have:
• Public sector or government project experience
• Legacy system decommissioning experience
• High-volume transactional data environment experience
