Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data & Reporting Consultant (Power BI) to support key initiatives in data governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on-site collaboration, and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while advancing your expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $53.99/hr – $64.79/hr

Responsibilities

Lead the rehaul of the SharePoint hub to enhance user accessibility and streamline content management
Develop and write clear, compelling communications, utilizing tools like Co-Pilot to tell impactful stories
Support and execute data literacy training programs to improve organizational data understanding
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to support reporting and analytics needs
Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements and ensure data governance standards are upheld
Assist in process improvements and support change management initiatives within the data environment
Build strong relationships with business segments and corporate functions to enable effective data management
Support enterprise data projects, ensuring alignment with governance and strategic objectives
Desired Skill-Set

Minimum 5 years of experience in data reporting and analytics
Proficiency in Power BI and familiarity with AI tools supporting business needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of storytelling and stakeholder engagement
Ability to think strategically while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
Excellent relationship management skills across varied levels of stakeholders
Flexibility to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and business requirements
Experience with data governance and enterprise change management practices
Technical proficiency in collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and content management platforms
Nice to Have

Certifications in Power BI, Change Management, or related areas
Experience with Collibra or similar data governance tools
Previous work in financial services or banking sectors
Proven leadership in internal communications, town halls, or community forums
Data-driven background with enterprise project experience
