Data Platform Architect – Senior Role –  6-month contract – Toronto – Hybrid
Are you a seasoned Data Architect with a passion for designing scalable, cutting-edge data solutions? We’re seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the way in data platform innovation.
What You’ll Do:
Architect and implement enterprise-grade data solutions across Data Lakes and Warehouses.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data Engineers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Hands-on engineering: build, debug, and optimize data platforms and pipelines.
Shape the future of data engineering practices and technology roadmaps.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years in Data & Analytics, Software/Cloud Engineering, or DevOps; 5+ years in Data Engineering.
3+ years in a senior, individual contributor role (Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Architect).
Deep expertise in SQL (Snowflake preferred), Python, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and real-time data processing.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
