We’re Hiring in Canada – Data Lead Developer + Architect (Banking Domain)
🔔 Spruce InfoTech Inc. is hiring an experienced Data Lead Developer + Architect to lead a high-impact delivery pod and replace a client FTE Sr. Development Manager.
📍 Location: GTA, Canada (4 days/week onsite)
🧠 Experience: 10+ years
👤 Role level: Lead / Architect / SPOC for the pod

🔹 Key Responsibilities & Skills
✅ Lead Developer + Architect with strong delivery ownership
✅ SPOC for the entire pod with senior-level maturity
✅ Strong ETL and Data Warehousing concepts
✅ Hands-on with Python, Spark, Scala, SQL
✅ Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Airflow
✅ Banking domain experience – Payments / Transaction systems / AML / Core Banking (minimum one required)
✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

✨ Nice to have
➕ Power BI or other reporting tools
➕ Exposure to ML workflows / MLOps
➕ Knowledge of data governance and compliance
