We’re Hiring: Data Engineer – GCP | Hybrid | Toronto, ON
💰 Pay Rate: $62–$68/hr
📆 Contract Duration: 2.5 Months
🌎 Project: Global Data Migration – International Banking
We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to support a high-impact, cross-border data transformation project. You’ll work closely with teams in Mexico, Chile, and Peru, helping to migrate and standardize data onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—driving analytics, reporting, and strategic insights.
👷♀️ What You’ll Do:
Design and maintain cloud-native data pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer)
Migrate data from on-prem systems across multiple countries into GCP
Standardize and transform data for analytics and reporting use cases
Work in both English and Spanish with international stakeholders
🧠 Must-Have Skills:
8+ years in data engineering & ETL
Hands-on GCP experience (BigQuery, Composer/AirFlow, Pub/Sub)
Strong skills in Python, Java & advanced SQL
✨ Nice to Have:
Financial or banking experience
Data modeling knowledge
Agile project exposure
