Data Engineer / Data Analytics Technical Lead 6+ Month Contract Location: likely hybrid within GTA Rate: open rate (ideally within 80-100/hr, incorp) Seeking an experienced hands-on Data Engineer / Technical Lead to support the implementation of a firmwide platform focused on resource management and scheduling. A key success factor, beside strong Data Engineering expertise, is the ability to quickly understand core business concepts and processes — including time booking, resource allocation across engagements and opportunities, and related operational workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines within the enterprise data lake Validate and reconcile downstream data against source systems Identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues Write and maintain data scripts in Python (nice to have) Support data-driven initiatives from requirements through delivery Translate business processes and definitions into clear, consistent data logic Ideal candidates combine strong technical data expertise with the ability to bridge business and data effectively.
