Data Engineer and Data BA

Duration: Initial 3-month term with good likelihood of extension
Start Date: early January
Location: East/North GTA (Toronto)
Hybrid Model: 2 days per week onsite, Tues and Thus (mandatory)
Rate: depends on expertise level, 70-80-ish (incorporated)

!!! Important education requirement: international education must be evaluated by WES or other certified International Credential Evaluation Services of Canada.

Data Engineer Must-haves:
– minimum 6-7y of experience in cloud data engineering with knowledge of cloud platforms
– Python / PySpark and Object-Oriented Programming skill (custom tool written in Phyton / PySpark)
– Experience with data ingestion/ETL framework in MS Fabric
– Microsoft Fabric strong expertise; additional knowledge across different platforms is an asset
– Cloud is Azure- new project implementing different data products
– Microsoft Saas, Azure, Phyton scripts hands on development, not design
– Ability to do hands on work within the environment but also to be able to architect solutions.

Business Data Analyst with Data Governance Must-haves:
– minimum 6-7 years of experience in defining business glossary, managing and facilitating meetings with business units around data ownership, standardization of data assets
– Strong expertise with data, data governance, data analysis
– Microsoft Fabric strong expertise
– Cloud is Azure- new project implementing different data products
– Microsoft Saas, Azure, Phyton scripts hands on development, not design
