Data Architect – Perm Opportunity Hybrid (Toronto) (Hybrid)

🔍 About the Role
As a Data Architect, you’ll be a key contributor in defining data architecture strategy and solutions across our cloud-based data platforms. You’ll collaborate with business, data engineering, and international teams to define standards, data flows, models, and integration patterns.
This role is ideal for someone with 8–10 years of experience, who has been working in data engineering roles in the past 2 years, and is now contributing to architecture and strategic decisions.
🌐 Tech You’ll Work With
Snowflake (preferred)
AWS / Azure
Data Modeling, ETL pipelines, Data Integration
Informatica, SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL
Bonus: Kafka, Hive, Tableau, or similar BI tools
✅ What You’ll Do
Help define and evolve data architecture standards and frameworks
Translate business needs into data design, pipelines, and cloud data solutions
Design and implement scalable data flows and integrations
Work with Snowflake and modern cloud data warehouse platforms
Support data governance, metadata management, and master data strategies
🧠 What You Bring
8–10 years in data engineering or architecture roles
Strong recent experience in data engineering (within the past 24 months)
Experience designing or contributing to enterprise data architecture
Hands-on with Snowflake, SQL-based data platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
