Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Analyst – Capital Markets. This position involves monitoring centralized data systems, investigating data breaches, supporting monthly releases, and performing testing to ensure data integrity within a dynamic team environment. The role offers a long-term contract and an opportunity to contribute to critical business operations.

Pay rate range (CAD): $67.65/hr – $81.18/hr

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze centralized data related to capital markets
Investigate and resolve data breaches and quality issues
Support and execute monthly data releases and testing procedures
Develop and perform test scenarios and cases for system updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Assist in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or Alteryx as needed
Maintain documentation of data processes and testing outcomes
Desired Skill-Set

3 to 5 years of experience in capital markets data analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Python and/or SQL
Experience in testing and validation of data systems
Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets
Nice to Have

Skills in creating dashboards with Power BI or Alteryx
Knowledge of writing detailed test scenarios and cases
Familiarity with data breach investigations and monitoring tools
Prior experience working in a financial services environment
